Bexley is a graphic novelist by trade and a nihilist by spiritual affiliation. Observant of everything around her, Bexley's mind interprets everything she sees in terms of meaning, significance, and connotation, though she usually finds everything about being alive-- including life itself-- to be quite pointless.

Reed Barry

Vocalist of indie band Grape Gardens, Reed becomes the Amethyst Alien on stage. Subsequently, he becomes the object of Bexley's newfound consideration. When her disregard for everything becomes regard only for him, we learn more about who Bexley thinks Reed is than who he may actually be.
